The Founder’s Court features railroad tracks embedded in the ground that guide visitors through the gate into the court space.
Pavers and bricks commemorate loved ones and bear the names of founding members of the Holocaust Garden of Hope. Statues of three playing children set the tone of this outdoor museum: a Jewish child, a Roma (Gypsy) child and a disabled child, representing the children victimized during the Holocaust. The purpose of this important transitional space is to draw visitors, particularly children and young adults, into the meaningful learning experience offered by the eight pocket exhibits of the Holocaust Garden of Hope.
