Holocaust Remembrance Association Statement on Cancellation of Dallas Israel Summit
In our statements we have focused on threats targeting Jewish institutions, Jewish people, Israelis, and Israeli institutions in the United States at this very time. We have said that antisemitism is not a singular incident. It is a force that keeps adapting itself to changing circumstances in society where it thrives.
Today antisemitism includes all its previous expressions but has a strong and increasing element of anti-Zionism and a strong anti-Israel attitude. The pro-Palestine movement ‘Free Palestine’ has as its goal the desire to become global.
Recently we saw what this global movement would look like. The murder of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington DC and the terrorist incident in Boulder, Colorado clearly showed us the capacity to violence. The effect of all this is an increasingly unstable society. Jewish institutions are not the only targets.
One of the largest Christian Zionist gatherings was supposed to take place in Dallas, Texas from June 9-10, 2025. The organizer HaYovel brings volunteers from all over the world to help the communities in Judea and Samaria with the harvest. Just days before the event threats of a terrorist attack were left in the venue. The large pro-Israel gathering had to be cancelled. HaYovel found other venues but had to cancel the entire event because the security threats were so serious. The FBI and Texas Police are investigating.
Various news agencies and organizations have reported on the story.
“This isn’t just about our event being shut down — it’s part of an alarming trend that’s escalating,” Israel Guys host Joshua Waller told The Daily Wire. “The threats against our Summit were direct, coordinated, and credible. When over 1,000 people can’t safely gather in Texas to stand with Israel, something is deeply wrong.”
It is noteworthy that a similar thing happened to this summit in 2024. At that time a private venue was found, and the event was held. This time there was also a whole campaign on social media against the event by various pro-Palestine actors.
The Holocaust Remembrance Association strongly condemns the threats, the rhetoric, which enables them and urges the public to speak up this regard.
It is time to say Never Again!
The Holocaust Remembrance Association exists to remember, reconcile, and take a stand against antisemitism in all its forms.
