What an extraordinary moment for HRA18! Our first-ever conference – Restoring Hope: Insights from the Holocaust in this Critical Hour – has officially concluded — and thanks to you, it exceeded every expectation! The energy in the room, the depth of discussion, and the shared commitment to truth and remembrance made this a landmark moment in our organization’s story!

From the moment attendees arrived on Thursday evening, the conference buzzed with meaningful connection and purpose. Leaders, educators, students, community members, and Upstanders filled the space with thoughtful questions, bold insights, and a genuine desire to confront today’s rising antisemitism with clarity and resolve. Our speakers — including Dr. Susanna Kokkonen, Dr. Moshe Vardi, and Prof. David Lawhon — delivered powerful presentations that challenged, inspired, and equipped us for the road ahead!

The fellowship was incredible. The conversations were deep. The momentum was real.

This inaugural conference didn’t just inform — it activated. It marked a new chapter for HRA18, proving that our community is ready to stand stronger than ever in this critical hour.

Thank you to everyone who attended, engaged, and helped bring this vision to life. You made history with us, and we’re just getting started. Together, we are raising Upstanders and restoring hope!

The Holocaust Remembrance Association exists to remember, reconcile, and take a stand against antisemitism in all its forms.
