The sold-out event recognized individuals whose leadership and moral courage exemplify what it means to be an upstander in today’s world. Vardi was honored for his bold advocacy against antisemitism and discrimination within academia.

Other honorees included Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, journalist Caroline Glick and author Brigitte Gabriel. The event was hosted by the Holocaust Remembrance Association, a nonprofit committed to Holocaust education and combating modern antisemitism.
