Pastor Jobst Bittner is the founder of the marches which began in Europe in 2006. Jobst and his wife Charlotte are the founders and leaders of TOS, their ministry and church home in Tubingen, Germany. They have a team of 30 leaders, part time and volunteers, that support them in their ministry. The Bittners have been in Tubingen for over 20 years with local, national and international branches of ministries. Pastor Jobst has planted 12 churches within Germany and abroad.

In four Latin American countries, they have planted long term projects to care and evangelize the street children. In Greece and Belarus, they conduct successful rehabilitation programs for drug addicts. In Argentina and Bolivia, Jobst Bittner has initiated national prayer movements with more than 600,000 intercessors from different churches and denominations.

Pastor Jobst has a degree in Theology from the University of Tubingen.

He has authored a book, Breaking the Veil of Silence, which is a key tool to educate Pastors, leaders and the public to the ramifications of silence in the midst of racial prejudice, hate, genocide and terrorist acts and the absolute necessity and biblical mandate to take a stand.
