#demostodreams

For those of you who have not heard, the site for the future Holocaust Garden of Remembrance in Kingwood was flooded after Hurricane Harvey, but it turned out that the property took on RISING water, NOT water coursing through it.  As a result, there was no damage to the grass, trees, or plant life.  That fact bodes well for future improvements on the property and increases the likelihood of receiving the permits from the city for this wonderful outdoor museum geared for children.  Engineers are currently working with the landscape  architect to iron out the final details of the plan prior to entering the permitting process. Once the permits are in place, we will launch the fundraising process and also develop educational curriculum for the HGOR website. Stay tuned for additional details.
